Jobs for Felons in Texas are on the horizon! The Texas Workforce Commission has agreed to give a grant to Lone Star Corporate College totaling over $500,000. With this grant money, Lone Star will partner with other companies to further the education and training of those looking for education and training in welding, electrical work, and even work as press operators. If you have an interest in these career options, you may want to contact the TWC or the Lone Star Corporate College to determine how you can qualify for this important to grant given by the state agency. While not directly ordered as school grants for felons, it can potentially lead to grants for felons through this opportunity.
