Employment for felons in Texas can be found in a variety of unique resources and we recently received a tip from one of our readers advising that Kroger hires convicted felons. This person lives in Ohio and works at the Kroger food distribution warehouse. It appears that Kroger will hire convicted felons as they see the tax credit in hiring those who have been convicted of a felony. If you are looking for a job, consider applying at a Kroger store, or even a Kroger food distribution warehouse, and be sure to make not that you are a convicted felon. You may even want to point out that you understand that Kroger hires those with a felony conviction because of the tax incentives and this may, possibly, push you to the top of candidates they are considering. While we make no guarantee of being hired, the reader that suggested this as an employment location definately wanted us to be sure to tell our Texas readers that being a felon may actually be an advantage in this case. When considering jobs that hire felons, be sure to consider this and you may also want to consider Albertson’s and other grocery store chains.

you know having a felony on your recorded is hard to over come no matter what any one tells you.The system is desiged to keep felons down and keep up the statues quo….it is good to here that some places are willing to give some one a chance to get back on track in life.when i first came home it was hard trying to adjust to jobs telling me sorry but at the time we can not hire you.so you have to dig deep and the first thing i learned is to check yes i have a felony but when they ask you to explain dont try to do it on paper put ” WILL EXPLAIN AT INTERVIEW” that is your best chance to get your voice heard and to tell you side of things.so if your a felon reading this remember keep your head up DONT FALL FOR THAT QUICK AND EASY WAY OUT BECAUSE THATS WHAT THE POWERS TO BE WANT HOLDING YOU DOWN MAKES THEM JUST RICHER THINK ABOUT IT…NEXT TIME YOU THINK LIFE HAS YOU ON THE ROPES DIG DEEP AND HOLD IT TOGETHER..
