  8. Apply at every single place you are interested in, and every place that is hiring-and do not give up- I have a record that spans 17 years and as many felonies- got a job withing 2 months of release and have been there 2 years now- yes, i could make more, but I know it’s my own fault I dont! I think I found this job by applying at places I may not have been interested in at first – turned out to be a decent job anyway! If you give up you might as well pack up your commisary bag and go wait at the doors to be locked up again!!!!! Stand up, say a prayer, explain you want to work and just DO IT!!

[...] Jobs for felons in Texas can be found through a variety of employers who are interested in hiring people for pipeline jobs.  If you have an interest in pipeline employment, or even an interest in offshore drilling jobs, then you will definately want to take a look at employers who are involved in pipe manufacturing along the gulf coast.  In addition, if you are interested in working abroad, you can often find mercenary jobs (jobs outside of the United States) working in offshore drilling or even pipeline employment.   For felons who want to relocate to Texas, the Houston, Texas, area has many employers who are involved in pipeline manufacturing and will offer jobs for ex felons.   In addition, be sure to contact union organizations that support the welfare of pipeline union employees as these organizations are also quite familiar with companies that are hiring for these types of positions.
